Nook turns any website into its own standalone, full-screen app on your device. Each app you add runs in its own isolated space. This policy explains how Nook handles your information. The short version: Nook has no servers and collects no data about you.
None. Nook has no backend, no analytics, no accounts, and no advertising SDKs. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal or usage data. There is no data for us to see, because nothing leaves your device to us.
Everything Nook creates stays on your device, under your control:
Uninstalling Nook, or clearing its data in Android settings, removes all of this.
Nook is a wrapper around the websites you choose to add. When you use one, you are interacting directly with that third-party website, which is governed by its own privacy policy — not this one. Any data those sites collect, and how they use it, is between you and them. Nook does not read, intercept, or relay that activity.
Nook requests some device permissions only so the websites you open can use them when you allow it — the same way a browser passes a permission prompt through to a site:
Nook itself never records or transmits your camera, microphone, or location data.
Because Nook can open any website, including unrestricted web content, it is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13.
Your data never leaves your device through Nook, so there is no transmission for us to secure. On-device storage is protected by Android's app sandbox.
